In terms of ETFs, the photovoltaic sector exploded, with Guangfa Fund Photovoltaic 30ETF and Tianhong Fund Photovoltaic ETF both rising more than 6%. Shenwan Lingxin Fund's leading new energy ETF rose 4.13%. The lithium battery sector followed suit, with China Merchants Fund Battery ETF rising 2.88%. The new materials sector strengthened, with Tianhong Fund New Materials ETF rising 2.58%.
The traditional Chinese medicine sector was among the top losers, with the traditional Chinese medicine ETF and the traditional Chinese medicine 50ETF falling more than 1%. The home appliance sector weakened, with the leading home appliance ETF falling 1.29%. Gold stocks pulled back, and gold stock ETFs fell 1.12%.
