Guojin Securities Research Report: The development of AI technology promotes long-term growth of copper downstream consumption
Guojin Securities released a research report on May 14clashroyalescratch, pointed out that the global supply of copper mines is limited and the supply disturbance of leading mining companies has intensified, resulting in a tight balance between copper supply and demand. The report emphasizes that the growth in computing power brought by generative AI will increase long-term copper demand from the supply side (data center) and the transmission side (5G base station).
In addition, the report predicts that driven by AI-related application fields, the demand for independent research and development and import substitution of high-end copper alloy materials, such as high-end copper plate strips and electronic circuit copper foils for PCBs, will continue to increase, thus bringing long-term growth to downstream copper consumption.
